The modern health care delivery system is complex and changing rapidly, and the UF College of Medicine continues to respond to changes in society, health care, medical sciences and educational modalities in order to provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the physician of today and tomorrow.
As part of a large, diverse university and academic health science center, the College of Medicine is home to many leading basic and clinical scientists. This means our students have a chance to work on world-class biomedical research projects during their medical school training.
Whether it’s through teaching the concepts of teamwork and leadership in clinical settings, providing ample opportunities for research leading to a career in academic medicine or utilizing the most advanced simulation technology, the UF College of Medicine is a leader in training future clinicians and scientists.
In order to maintain leadership in the most current initiatives in medical education, the UF College of Medicine has a vision to build a new medical education building. The new facility will help transform medical education at the college and advance the way UF physicians and scientists learn to care for patients.
